Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth
National Criminal Justice Modelling Workshop: 2003
Presenters: Professor Ross Homel, Griffith University, Queensland and
Dr Nancy Spencer, Office of Economic and Statistical Research, Queensland Treasury.
Overview of presentation:
The Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY) was established in 2002 to achieve a more coordinated response to emerging and entrenched problems affecting the health, development and wellbeing of significant numbers of children and young people in Australia. The alliance seeks to harness the best knowledge, skills and resources of organisations and individuals around the nation to develop new, more effective solutions to these problems.
The national data network is being developed by the ARACY to link and share national data to make the most effective use of existing knowledge and to create new knowledge that can be best applied to achieve better outcomes for children and youth.
