Assumptions Used in the Queensland Population Projections (2008 projections)
Population projections to 2056 have been released at the Queensland and Statistical Division geographical levels. In order to generate these projections, assumptions on future levels of fertility, mortality and migration were developed. These assumptions were based on historical trends and other available evidence.
