This bulletin contains state comparisons between Queensland and other Australian states and territories and covers information such as population statistics (size and change), computer and internet use, family type, non-school qualifications, and a range of other demographic characteristics. Unless otherwise stated, the data are sourced from the 1996 and 2001 Censuses of Population and Housing conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). Census data in this bulletin are on a place of usual residence basis unless otherwise stated. Data for Other Territories are not detailed specifically, but are included in the Australian totals. As such, the sum of state components may not be equivalent to the Australian totals.
