Queensland State Accounts
Queensland State Accounts measure the structure and performance of the Queensland economy as accurately and comprehensively as possible. It significantly extends the information contained in the Australian National Accounts, Quarterly State Details series, with estimates of trade in goods and services, including tourism transactions. This enables the system to derive quarterly estimates of gross state product in volume terms. As well, this provides a more comprehensive understanding of Queensland's trade performance, and replaces the more limited understanding provided by the common misperception of overseas state trade as total state trade.
