This bulletin contains population and demographic information on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Queensland. The data have been extracted from population censuses and experimental Indigenous population estimates published by the ABS. Fertility and mortality data have been sourced from birth and death registrations processed by the ABS. This bulletin highlights areas of concern for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Queensland. The main areas of interest were identified as families, culture, health, employment, income and education.
