House for rent

OESR’s Rental Housing Vacancy Rates Survey results for the December quarter 2011 are now available. Vacancy rates for rental units and detached houses are reported for Queensland and selected regions. Information on agency rental management lists and perceptions of rental demand are also presented.

OESR has prepared a range of statistical area maps reflecting the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS), implemented from 1 July 2011. A full range of maps for Queensland are available to download covering the ASGS level 2level 3 and level 4. Maps presenting Queensland’s local government areas at 2011 are also available.

Housing development

This new report presents projections of households and dwellings for Queensland to 2031, and includes a discussion on projected living arrangements. Accompanying data tables provide projections for Queensland’s statistical divisions, local government areas, regional planning areas and regionalisation strategy areas.
